Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") carefully before using the JobKonto service. By using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
JobKonto is a Hungarian job aggregation service that collects and displays job listings from various sources (job portals, corporate career pages) in a single, easy-to-use interface. Our goal is to make it easier for job seekers to navigate the Hungarian labor market.
The service is currently in a pre-launch waitlist phase. This means the full functionality (searching, filtering, and viewing job listings) is not yet available; only waitlist registration is possible. The service is under active development and may be expanded with additional features in the future.
2. Acceptance
By using the JobKonto website and services, you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the service.
These Terms govern the legal relationship between JobKonto and all users of the service. By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, or if you are not, that you are using the service under the supervision of a legal guardian.
3. Registration and Accounts
During the current waitlist phase, registration only requires providing an email address. By registering, you consent to JobKonto sending you notifications about the service launch and related updates.
After the service goes live, registration may require additional information. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and currency of the information you provide. JobKonto reserves the right to reject registration if the provided information is incomplete or false.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use the JobKonto service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Using automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to mass download job listings or user data
- Providing false or misleading information during registration
- Sending spam or unsolicited messages to other users
- Disrupting or overloading the service
- Engaging in any illegal activity through the service
JobKonto reserves the right to restrict or suspend access for users who violate these provisions.
5. Intellectual Property
The design, logo, text content, and software of the JobKonto website are the intellectual property of JobKonto and are protected by copyright law. The job listings displayed on the website originate from their original sources (job portals, companies), and the intellectual property rights to those listings are held by the respective rights holders.
Using the service does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification of JobKonto or partner content is prohibited.
6. Service Limitations
JobKonto is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no guarantees that:
- The service will operate uninterrupted or error-free
- Job listings accurately and promptly reflect the original sources
- Using the service will result in a job offer or interview
- The website will be accessible under specific technical conditions
JobKonto is currently a free service and will remain free for job seekers in the future. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with prior notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
JobKonto disclaims all liability for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, except where such damages are caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
In particular, we accept no liability for:
- The accuracy, completeness, or legality of job listings posted by third parties
- The content of external links displayed on the website
- Service outages resulting from technical failures, maintenance, or cyber attacks
- Disputes arising from communication or transactions between users
- Lost profits or business opportunities
If you are dissatisfied with the service, your sole remedy is to discontinue using it.

The Privacy Policy forms an integral part of these Terms. By using the service, you acknowledge the data processing practices described therein.
9. Changes to These Terms
JobKonto reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by email or through the website. Changes take effect 30 days after notification.
If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you may discontinue using the service. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
